Kitchen Remodel: Blah to BEAUTIFUL

Feb 4, 2012

This Fall clients Susan and Michael purchased a condo on the cape. The condo had just what they wanted; a large deck, plenty of room and a gorgeous view of the ocean. They had to have it! But when they saw the kitchen, “BLAH” was all they could say. They headed to Cape & Island Kitchens to meet with Designer Gail O’Rourke and Reconstruction Project Manager Michael Heinrichs. Their kitchen remodel was recently completed.

This Project included the following scope of work:

Remove existing cabinetry

Remove Wall, Closet

Relocate Electrical Panel

Install approved LVL in Ceiling

Replace Cabinetry and Counter

Replace Flooring

Plumbing and electrical as required by code

The client selected the following:

Shrock: Brookshire Door, White, Beadboard Accent. Mechanicals included a tray divider and Double Trash pull out and lazy susan cabinet

Counter: Skyline Marble and Granite – St. Cecelia Dark with 4″ backsplash and 3/8″ edge detail

Other: Franke Sink, Appliances by owner

What started as closed and cramped, ended up as gorgeous, open and fully functional space! As this was a project in a condominium complex, Michael executed all aspects of this project respectfully with the project management company.

Here’s what the Client said – Wow! Is that our Kitchen? It came out unbelieveably spectacular. It has been our pleasure to work with you – you are all very nice and professional and great taste! Thank you again. – Susan and Michael
